Expired Transition Conference

This year’s virtual conference will be kicked off on February 23^rd with a keynote speaker and five available breakout sessions scheduled throughout the day. The remaining breakout sessions will be recorded and released over the three weeks following the conference kick-off day. Four additional breakout sessions will be released each week.

The conference keynote will be centered around the importance of self-care and the mental health of teachers. Breakout sessions will cover topics in student development and student focused planning, program structures, and parent involvement.

The conference starts Tuesday, February 23 with a welcome at 8:30am CST followed by the keynote speaker Aria Fiat. The remainder of the day will feature five breakout sessions in a variety of topics. The remaining breakout sessions will be released in a seminar format. These pre-recorded breakout sessions will be released for viewing by the public on one of the following dates, March 2, 8, or 16. You may access these presentations by going to the NDE Events page, eventsnde.wpengine.com, or the Transition Conference web page, www.netransition.com. On February 23rd, there will be watch buttons added to each session on the Session Grid tab, the watch buttons will  be live about 10 minutes before the start of the session time. The watch buttons will take you into the Zoom Session.  If Zoom fails to launch you into a meeting, you may need to manually open the Zoom application on your computer.
