The Nebraska Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Surveillance System is the coordinated administration of three school-based student health surveys in Nebraska endorsed by both the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The three surveys are conducted at the same time every odd year to shed light on the risk behaviors our youth are engaging in across the state. This presentation will help participants understand the data collected from the surveys and how it can enhance programs in every Nebraska school district.
